A Technip Energies e a COS Petrogaz assinaram um Memorando de Entendimento (MoU) para colaborar nas áreas de GNL, soluções de energia livre de carbono e descarbonização, a fim de acelerar o desenvolvimento de gás do Senegal e apoiar uma transição energética justa e equitativa . Uma cerimônia de assinatura ocorreu em 25 de maio de 2022 com representantes de ambas as organizações presentes.
O MoU visa desenvolver a colaboração entre as equipes da Technip Energies e da COS Petrogaz, a fim de realizar iniciativas de transferência de conhecimento em tecnologias relacionadas à engenharia de processos de tratamento de água, petróleo e gás; diferentes tipos de plataformas e instalações terrestres; e conceitos de desenvolvimento de campos de gás offshore. O acordo abrangerá também os princípios de transição energética através da organização de workshops e transferência de competências.
O acordo prevê ainda que a Technip Energies realize estudos como parte da estratégia global de desenvolvimento de gás definida pela COS Petrogaz.
Marco Villa, Diretor de Operações da Technip Energies, disse: “Estamos muito satisfeitos por colaborar com a COS Petrogaz para apoiar o Senegal nos seus projetos de desenvolvimento de gás e no seu objetivo de alcançar uma transição energética justa e equitativa. Esta nova colaboração ilustra o nosso firme compromisso de estar ao lado do Senegal na implementação do seu energia global e estratégia de desenvolvimento industrial”.
